Envirotuff™ ACC Weathering Membrane

A complete roof protection system in one roll.

ACC is a self-adhered, six-layer weathering and anti-corrosion membrane for metal roofs. It reflects heat, blocks water and resists corrosion — on metal, concrete and masonry roofs, gutters, flashings and penetrations.

What it is

A weathering membrane, not a coating.

Coatings depend on mil thickness applied on the day, cure conditions and recoat cycles. ACC arrives as a factory-made laminate with consistent thickness and a continuous butyl bond — so what you specify is what goes on the roof.

  • Peel-and-stick application — no torches, kettles or spray rigs
  • Installs over the existing metal roof — no tear-off
  • Treats the whole roof or just the problem details: seams, fasteners, gutters, ridges and penetrations
  • Reflective, easy-clean surface with sound dampening on metal roofs

Construction

Inside the six-layer laminate

  1. Anti-corrosion (ACC) coatingThe exposed weathering face. Resists UV, acid rain and salt spray, and stays clean with a water contact angle over 90°.
  2. Pure aluminum foilDelivers the membrane’s high solar reflectance — the cool-roof performance layer.
  3. PET filmDimensional stability and tear resistance across the laminate.
  4. PE tie layerBonds the PET film to the non-woven reinforcement beneath.
  5. PET non-wovenTensile reinforcement that carries the laminate.
  6. Self-adhesive butyl13–15 mil high-tack butyl — a continuous, self-sealing bond that stays stable from −22 °F to 176 °F. Protected by a release film until installation.

Notes
  1. Manufacturer data — San Miguel Yamamura Woven Products, ACC WF501C-BU specification sheet and product manual. Test methods as stated. U.S. third-party listings are in progress.
  2. Independent U.S. laboratory testing (ACE Laboratories, Ravenna, Ohio, July 2026) to ASTM C1549 and ASTM C1371 on two production batches: initial solar reflectance 0.83–0.84, SRI 92–95. These are initial lab values, not a Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) rating. CRRC rating is in progress.
